Towards Eternity – Arabic Video Localization

This project was created for Towards Eternity, a global YouTube channel with over 3 million subscribers and millions of views across multiple languages. My role was to produce the full Arabic version of the video — adapting the original English content into a culturally accurate and emotionally engaging Arabic experience.

My Role

I handled the full Arabic localization and motion adaptation workflow, including:

• Translating and adapting the script into natural, accurate Arabic
• Lip-sync alignment for the Arabic voice-over with character mouth movement
• Replacing and adjusting on-screen text and motion graphics for Arabic viewers
• Editing timing to match the pacing of the original emotional narrative
• Cleaning, mixing, and balancing Arabic voice-over with background audio
• Ensuring cultural tone and meaning stayed true to the original message

• Adobe Premiere Pro – editing & timing
• After Effects – motion adjustments & text replacement
• Audition – voice cleanup & sync refinement

Challenges & Solutions

1. Achieving accurate lip-sync:
The original characters had expressive mouth movement, so I manually aligned Arabic phonemes with their lip shapes to achieve natural synchronization.

2. Adapting English motion graphics:
The video contains on-screen text and animated elements that required full recreation in Arabic while preserving timing and design structure.

3. Maintaining emotional impact:
The tone of the story relies heavily on pacing and voice delivery. I ensured the Arabic narration matched the emotional beats of the original episode precisely.

Result

The Arabic version helped expand the channel’s reach across the Middle East, generating strong engagement and contributing to millions of additional views. The seamless localization allowed Arabic viewers to experience the story with the same depth, clarity, and emotional impact as the original audience.
