صيغ الهوك في الفيديو القصير اللي بتوقف السكرول فعلاً

أول ٣ ثواني هي كل شيء. هنا الصيغ الدقيقة للهوك اللي بتحقق أعلى retention على تيك توك وريلز.

Editing short-form content for 3+ years, I’ve tested hundreds of hooks across dozens of accounts. Here are the patterns that consistently outperform everything else.

Why the First 3 Seconds Win or Lose Everything

TikTok and Instagram Reels measure retention from the first second. If viewers swipe away in the first 3 seconds, the algorithm kills your reach. If they watch past 3 seconds, it boosts you.

The hook is the entire game.

Hook Formula 1: The Specific Number

Template: “[Number] [thing] that [audience] doesn’t know”

Example: “3 Premiere Pro shortcuts that save me 2 hours every edit”

Why it works: Specificity = credibility. “A few” is forgettable. “3” is clickable.

Hook Formula 2: The Earned Credibility

Template: “I made $[X] from [specific thing] — here’s exactly how”

Example: “I made $500 from a 2-minute edit — here’s exactly how”

Why it works: A specific dollar amount signals proof. It forces curiosity: “How?”

Hook Formula 3: The Counterintuitive Statement

Template: “[Common belief] is wrong. Here’s what actually works.”

Example: “Your editing software doesn’t matter. This does.”

Why it works: Pattern interruption. The viewer expects you to recommend software. You don’t. They have to watch.

Hook Formula 4: The Before/After Promise

Template: “Before [problem] → After [specific result] in [timeframe]”

Example: “Before: 2 hours to edit a 60-second reel. After: 35 minutes. Here’s the system.”

Why it works: It sells the transformation upfront. The viewer self-selects in.

Hook Formula 5: The Hidden Secret

Template: “[Most editors / people / creators] don’t know this [tool / trick / rule]”

Example: “Most video editors don’t know this DaVinci Resolve panel exists”

Why it works: FOMO + implied exclusivity. The viewer wants to be in the know.

Applying These to Your Content

Pick one formula. Apply it to your next 5 videos. Measure watch time and 3-second retention in your analytics. The one that performs best is your hook type.

Then double down.
